The Guardians of Oa warn Jor-EL of his interventions on Earth interfering with the destinies of Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, Bruce Wayne, and Oliver Queen from becoming Earth’s heroes. Jor-EL and his wife Lara splits dividing into two distinct ideas: Jorcorp and Raology.
PART SIX
Lex Luthor betrays the EL Family along with the A.I Brainiac. Brainiac outsmarts Lex Luthor and Superman outsmarts Brainiac. Destiny resumes the course as Bruce Wayne is foreshadowed to become Batman and Superman lives on as the Last Son of Krypton.
Cary Bates wraps the tale the only way he could by bringing Superman to the forefront of the EL family. The other family members played their apart of influencing the upbringing of Kal-EL if he had a Kryptonian family on Earth. Renato Arlem’s art seemed a little rush within the final issue as he crams each panel with unrecognizable faces. Overall the story was an above average Elseworld tale of the Last Family of Krypton.
