Review | All-New Wolverine #1 [2015] Tom Taylor | David Lopez

Following the Death of Wolverine, Laura Kinney AKA X-23 the clone of Logan carries his legacy forward as the new Wolverine. Laura is in Paris saving someone from being assassinated however she is shot instead. She goes after the assassin as Wolverine at the Eiffel Tower.  The assassin does not feel pain and decides to send a drone after her target. Wolverine chases after her with the assistance of Angel who was recently powered up during the Black Vortex saga. She brings down the drone then goes after the assassin who is another clone of hers. Laura realizes she needs to stop the other clones and save them.

Writer Tom Taylor of Injustice Gods and Superior Iron Man takes on the all-new female Wolverine however the first issue seems like it will be going the Orphan Black route. I was hoping for a more aggressive solo Wolverine finding her place in the new world from the shadows of her past. Instead what we have is a Wolverine with a boyfriend.
