After the
Age of Ultron, Thor decides to investigate the Infinity Stones which
leads him to the events of Ragnarok. The movie introduces Asgardian
goddess queen Hela who is rule of the realm of the dead. In the original Infinity
Gauntlet story back in 1991, Thanos assembled the Infinity Gems to wipe out
half the universe for his beloved Death. We can assume the same will happen in
the Infinity War when Thanos assembles the Infinity Gems to wipe out the
universe for his beloved Hela. The synopsis for Ragnarok involves Thor losing his hammer and is pitted against the Hulk in a gladiatorial fight before he returns to Asgard to stop Ragnarok which is the destruction of Asgardian civilization at the hands of Hela.
