This latest Ultimate Avengers volume begins with introducing us to the Ultimate versions of Blade and Daredevil. The vampire clans are under the command of the mysterious Anthony and offer a truce with Blade. The response is as expected from a vampire hunter.
On the Upper East Side of New York City, Stick introduces himself with Ray Connor at St. Mary’s Hospital. He must fulfill Matt Murdock’s destiny to kill Anthony the current leader of the vampire clans. Meanwhile, Nick Fury puts a Black-Ops team together with Captain America
Much better Ultimate Avengers comic than the previous two volumes put together. The unknown threat of the vampire clans creates an intriguing mystery within the book similar to what Jeph Loeb has created with his Ultimate X series. Artist Steven Dillion (Preacher, Punisher) brings the magic from his collaboration with Garth Ennis to Ultimate Avengers. Really enjoyed this issue and watching this arc progress.
