The true identity of the Hush killings is revealed to be a clone of Richard Grayson. Geneticist Dr. Nora Elliot Reid is revealed to be the granddaughter of Thomas Elliot the original Hush. She participated with Cadmus to clone Grayson who is mentally unstable and wants to claim his rightful place as Batman. Since “Hush” realizes that he can never become Batman he now plans on completing Batman’s mission by destroying Gotham City thereby eliminating all the crime within it. The recent announcement of an ongoing Batman Beyond book beginning in January 2011 with the same creative team has pleased loyal fans. Adam Beechen has added another chapter to the Batman mythos much like Batman Beyond Return of the Joker DVD. The $2.99 price tag for this book really makes it an excellent bargain.
