THE FORGOTTEN MACHINES OF NIKOLA TESLA
The leader of Shield and the mentor of Leonid the Immortal Sir Isaac Newton have his authority challenged by Leonardo da Vinci. Meanwhile the Night Machine who is also the father of Leonid attempted to destroy the High Council of Shield however was stopped by both Howard Stark and Nathaniel Richards. All three men disappeared five to six thousand years into the future. In 1951 Howard and Nathaniel set out to track the Night Machine who happens to be Nikola Tesla.
Jonathan Hickman has created a complex tale of intrigue to keep the audience wanting more. Much like his current run of Fantastic Four which will suffer a casualty next month, Hickman builds the history of Shield to the point it becomes something much more deeper.
