MORNING GLORIES VOLUME 1: FOR A BETTER FUTURE TRADE PAPERBACK
PROBLEMS ARE ARROWS ON THE MAP TO A SOLUTION
Writer Nick Spencer describes Morning Glories as a cross between Runaways and Lost building on a long mystery that asks and answers questions as the series moves forward. Casey, Ike, Zoe, Hunter, Jade, and Jun prepare for their first day at the most prestigious prep school in the country and all of them passed out in the car driven by the same chauffer from Morning Glory Academy. Faculty liaison Miss Daramount welcomes them while residence director Miss Dagney begins the orientation. The academy uses unorthodox ways to help enhance their student such as having them all have the same birthdays to synch their intellects and having their parents forgot them when they call home so they can build their independence. On their first day the group is in detention and Casey finds out her parents have been killed.
