SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN:
Peter
Parker begins Parker Industries as Venom arrives and has a showdown with the
Superior Spider-Man. Meanwhile Captain Yuri Watanabe investigates the
disappearance of Carlie Cooper which leads her to suspect Peter Parker. After
Peter manages to help his Aunt May walk without a cane, he offers to help his
high school friend Flash Thompson to walk again with artificial limbs. However
Peter tricks Flash into removing the Venom symbonite leading to the creation of
Superior Venom!
The Green Goblin dresses up as the Hobgoblin and takes profits form Roderick Kingsley. The Green Goblin also gives the Goblin formula to Carlie Cooper while Peter confronts Aunt May concerning her girlfriend Anna Maria. Mary Jane discovers Peter is taken over the Venom symbonite and calls the Avengers.

removed from Spider-Man thanks to Tony Stark and Flash Thompson. However the
Avengers suspects something concerning Spider-Man and decides to bring him in. After
confronting Spider-Man, Doc Ock quits the Avengers as the Green Goblin destroys
the Hobgoblin without realizing that he is a decoy.
