THE DAY OF THE DOCTOR [2013]

The celebration of the Doctor Who 50^th Anniversary Special brought a new mission for the Doctor. Gallifrey and the Time Lords were destroyed during the Time War due to the actions of the War Doctor (John Hurt). The War Doctor used the ultimate weapon against both the people of Gallifrey and the Daleks. Now the story unravels on how that day came about which begins with three time periods with three Doctors. Ultimately Gallifrey is saved however lost in space thanks to the combined effort of 13 Doctors including Peter Capaldi who is replacing Matt Smith during the Doctor Who Christmas Special 2013. Gallifrey is frozen in a moment in time and disappeared into space leaving behind a new mission for the Doctor – to finally go home.
