E02: New Avengers #24 | Magneto #10 | Guardians of the Galaxy #19 | Spider-Man #1.5 Reviews [Devil Comics Entertainment]

The final issue of Learning to Crawl sees Peter finding the courage to defeat Clash through Aunt May and becomes determined by the memory of Uncle Ben to become the Amazing Spider-Man. The overall limited series debuted due to the sequel of the Amazing Spider-Man. Personally the series doesn’t add anything to the mythos and it seemed forced at certain times in anticipation of the film.

SPIDER-VERSE
Edge of Spider-Verse #3 is written and drawn by Dustin Weaver and introduces a new Spider-Man.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
Guardians of the Galaxy #19 continues the tale that reveals what happened to Richard Rider the original Nova in the Cancerverse which also trapped Peter Quill, Drax the Destroyer, and Thanos. Quill uses the Cosmic Cube to kill Thanos however he returns and punches him through the chest. Drax uses the Cosmic Cube to kill Thanos again. They soon discover no one can die in the Cancerverse. Soon they find themselves against the evil Avengers in the Cancerverse called the Revengers who finally got ahold of the Cosmic Cube.

X-MEN
Magneto#10 continues with Magneto traveling to Genosha and is captured by the Red Skull and his S-Men. The issue is a March to the Avengers & X-Men: Axis event premiering this October.

AVENGERS
New Avengers #24 takes place eight months later when the Time Runs Out event hits. The Illuminati kicks Namor the Submariner out of their group however Namor forms a Cabal which includes Thanos to destroy the worlds the Illuminati doesn’t have the stomach for. Namor discovers his Cabal is unmanageable and he needs Doctor Doom to support him. However Doctor Doom refuses him meanwhile Doom secretly is trying to find out who is behind the incursions using the Molecule Man.
