E03: Armor Hunters #4 | X-O Manowar #29 Reviews [Devil Comics Entertainment]

Valiant began its summer Armor Hunters event with several tie-ins including X-O Manowar, Unity, Armor Hunters: Bloodshot, and Armors Hunters: Harbinger. The only tie-ins worth reading were X-O Manowar which gave a background on the Armor Hunters and Armor Hunters: Bloodshot which features an Armor Hunter refugee Malgam. The finale of the Armor Hunters brings Aric into the fight and the Unity team comes together to defeat the Armor Hunters. Overall the Valiant Universe has changed following the events of Armor Hunters.

In Armor Hunters: Aftermath #1 M.E.R.O is gone and G.A.T.E. is its replacement as the world knows the existence of the Unity team. The remaining Armor Hunters are either on the run or held captive. Aric comes out publicly with the Unity team to the world.

X-O MANOWAR #29 The Armor Hunters are over and someone tries to kill Malgam so only the armor survives. However both Aric and Capshaw save Malgam and cures him of the armor so he controls it instead of the other way around. Capshaw makes Aric Second-In-Command by making him an Executive Officer an X-O and she also gives MI-6 a weapon to pierce the armor. The next X-O Manowar story arc will feature the debut of the Armorines.
