Devil Comics Review | Logan [2017] Wolverine 3

In 2024 the mutant population has shrunk and the X-Men has disbanded leaving Logan with his dwindling abilities to earn a living as a chauffeur. While taking care of an ailing Professor X, Logan is asked to chauffeur a girl named Laura to the Canadian border. In Marvel Comics Laura is the clone of Wolverine (X-23) The film is loosely based on Mark Millar's Wolverine story arc Old Man Logan in 2008. The trip to Eden the location Laura believes will be her new home. X-24 who is a clone of Wolverine in his prime is introduced and murders both Professor X and Wolverine. Logan is the second R-rated X-Men film following last year's Deadpool. Overall the movie is an extremely personal story of redemption and sacrifice which brings Hugh Jackman's Wolverine to a close after 17 years.
