Marvel Television
is competing with Warner Bros. with their DC Comics television series which
includes Supergirl, Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow with a
few of their own. The upcoming Inhumans series on ABC will crossover
with Agents of Shield while over at Fox the upcoming X-Men series
will crossover with Legion. It would seem that Marvel is expanding with
two different channels however they are in competition with one another. When
Fox took over the X-Men license from Marvel, there was a void that needed to be
filled so Marvel pushed the Inhumans front and center. Originally the Inhumans was a movie set to premiere after Avengers Infinity War Part II in 2019 however Marvel prematurely introduced them in Agents of Shield as Fox was planning on creating an television series based on the X-Men franchise.
