PART THREE
Kal-EL encounters his first experience to Kryptonite poisoning. His siblings Valora and Bru-EL are not as strong as Kal-EL since they were born on Earth. While Lara continues to promote her faith of Raology and Jor-EL continues to improve life on Earth. The highlight of this part is definitely Lara stopping Joe Chill from killing Thomas and Martha Wayne.
PART FOUR
Kal-EL graduates from high school as Clark Kent Clark wears the familiar red, blue, and yellow attire. Red represents Krypton’s sun Rao, blue for Earth, and yellow for Earth’s sun. Kal-EL becomes Superman and showcases his abilities by helping people around the world. We flashforward a few years as terrorists have kidnapped Valora and holding her hostage with Kryptonite while the EL family rushes to find her.
Writer Cary Bates really brings out the mythology of Superman representing the colors of Superman’s suit. Renato Arlem’s art seems a definite improvement. Looking forward to Brainiac making an appearance in some form as we approach the concluding issue.
