CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE TOMORROW SOLDIER HC

The final chapter of Steve Rogers that began in Dimension Z is set to end with a new Captain America! Following his battle with the Iron Nail, Steve Rogers Super-Soldier Serum is neutralized causing him to rapidly age as an old man. Now Arnim Zola returns from Dimension Z as an intruder enters the Avengers Mansion. The intruder is revealed to be Ian Rogers from Dimension Z. The Falcon and Jet infiltrate Zola’s lair to find Sharon Carter held captive. Zola joins the Red Skull in his endeavor however attempts to save his daughter Jet before the Red Skull plans take place. Zola takes on both his daughter and his the Falcon who sacrifices himself to save New York City.

The Falcon survives the blast while Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter operate out of the Avengers Mansion where they announce Sam Wilson as the new Captain America to the Avengers. The issue leads into the Sam Wilson era of Captain America as he battles the forces of Hydra as they popularity increased during the events of Captain America: Winter Soldier and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
