The final issue of God of Thunder before Thor is relaunched with as a woman starring in the series. The story begins as the grandchildren of Thor go into the Asgard library to educate themselves on past tales including the Dark Elves, young Thor, and Frost Giants. The origin of Malekith is told as he is recruited into the Troll War which killed his 12 other brothers. Malekith is taught by a wizard who marks him after he is killed and feeds his own mother who sold him to the dogs. Young Thor leads a group of Vikings against the Frost Giants. The final tales shows Thor becomes Unworthy and a new Thor rises!
