Book of Death: The
Fall of Bloodshot
sees Bloodshot walking and thinking of the past as he grows older. Bloodshot
joins Armstrong as a pirate Captain Red Eyes on the sea to take on Rampage. Afterwards
we see him settling down with Eskimos before being abducted by aliens to fight
their robot wars. Later he is returned to Earth and killing dinosaurs until he
becomes a hobo and dies in an alleyway. This issue is not what I had expected.
I believe it will enhance the mythology of the character but just cheapens it
with simplistic writing. The main Book
of Death is also a disassociated mess. Valiant
failed to live up with the expectations of the book as the classic Valiants are
the ones to read.
