Devil Comics Review | Arrow [2019] Season 7

Oliver Queen is in prison as a new Arrow is on the streets. The finale of the first episode sees an adult William travel to Lian Yu to meet with Roy Harper which happens in the future. Ricardo Diaz hires the assassins the Longbow Hunters. Felicity teams up with the FBI who put Oliver away to take down Diaz. They capture the Silencer as Diaz gains supernatural strength. Oliver defends himself within a prison fight club and moves to another level at the prison. 

Felicity and Laurel Lance free the Silencer so she will lead them to Diaz. In the future we discover Felicity is dead as Oliver Queen is brainwashed in prison. He teams up with Taila Ghul and takes down the Level 2 of the prison which gives Felicity leverage for Oliver to be released. 

The Arrow Team, Argus, and the new Green Arrow apprehended Ricardo Diaz. The Feds agree to exchange Oliver for Diaz. In the future we find out that Felicity becomes the Calculator before she died while working with Blackstar. Oliver and Diaz face off in prison as a riot erupts from within. Oliver finally takes down Diaz and he is freed. While free Green Arrow Oliver Queen is working with the Star City Police Department. We find out the mysterious Green Arrow working in Star City is Robert Queen's daughter so Oliver confronts her. 

In the future Conner Hawke is revealed to be the adopted son of John Diggle who is working with the daughter of Felicity Smoak. They free Star City and Felicity goes with the Monitor to meet her husband Oliver in the future. 

Argus activates the Suicide Squad and sends them on a mission to capture a terrorist named Dante who is secretly teamed up with Robert Queen's daughter, Emiko. Later we find out that Emiko was responsible for the Queen's Gambit being lost at sea and sending Oliver Queen to become the Green Arrow while Emiko becomes the leader of the Ninth Circle. Oliver stops the Ninth Circle and Emiko dies. Afterwards Felicity gives birth and Oliver is summoned by the Monitor. We discover Oliver dies in the future during the Crisis of Infinite Earths. 

Devil Comics Review | Elseworlds [2018]

Oliver Queen and Barry Allen find each other’s identity reverse where Oliver is the Flash and Barry is the Green Arrow. They travel to another Earth to find Supergirl who understands something is wrong. Returning home Barry and Oliver unite with Superman and Supergirl to take down Amazo. Barry, Oliver, and Kara find that the person responsible is John Deegan who is working with a Monitor to change reality in Gotham City. They meet with Kate Kane who is Batwoman.

John Deegan rewrites the world again and now he becomes the Dark Superman. Kara is imprisoned while Oliver and Barry are on the run. She talks to her sister so she is freed. Barry and Oliver bring Superman to fight off the Dark Superman. Oliver makes a deal with the Monitor to save both Flash and Supergirl. Now the world returns back to normal however the stage is set for Crisis in Infinite Earths.

Devil Comics Review | Arrow [2018] Season 6

Five months after the destruction of Lian Yu, Oliver Queen is outed as the Green Arrow as Black Siren attacks. Now Mayor Queen is being investigated by the FBI which is quickly dissolved when evidence arises that Queen is not he Green Arrow. Later Oliver asks John Diggle to become the Green Arrow. 

Black Siren murders three unrelated victims however the Arrow team discovers she is working with Cayden James the former leader of Helix. The Vigilante returns and he is revealed to be Black Canary's previous partner. Deathstroke asks Oliver Queen for help tracking down his son who was kidnapped from prison by the Jackals only to discover he is the boss. 

Oliver Queen is arrested by the FBI for being the Green Arrow while Black Siren attacks and steals for Cayden James. Oliver discovers someone within the team has betrayed him so he spies on his teammates as Quentin Lance is kidnapped by Black Siren. Wild Dog admits he is the one who betrayed the team. Oliver focuses on saving Lance and stopping Cayden James however the team falls apart. We discovered Cayden James has been spying on Oliver and his team along with his own teammates including Richard Dragon, Vigilante, Black Siren, and Anatoly Knyazev.

Oliver Queen discovers Cayden James has been spying on his team and has been backed up by two criminal organizations as well as the Vigilante and Black Siren. The Arrow Team unites against Cayden James’ campaign against Star City as the Vigilante reveals he is undercover. Mayor Queen pays the $10 million ransom to Cayden James so he will not destroy Star City. The Vigilante gives the Arrow Team the location of the bomb but he is made and tortured by Cayden James. The Black Siren kills the Vigilante while Cayden James gets away with the bomb. 

Cayden James is convinced Oliver killed his son Owen and threatens to destroy Star City. He asks Oliver to bring Richard Dragon, Anatoly Knyazev, and Black Siren to discover who killed his son Owen. However Black Siren escapes first releasing both Richard Dragon and Anatoly Knyazev. Oliver takes down Cayden James and save the city. Richard Dragon visits Cayden James in custody and reveals he killed Owen and plans to take over Star City before killing Cayden James. 

After the unexpected death of Cayden James, Mayor Oliver Queen needs to get the $70 million ransom back from Cayden James however his accounts are withdrawn and Star City will become bankrupt. The team searches for Black Siren so they can track down the ransom. Richard Dragon has taken over the city and sets his sights on the Mayor Oliver Queen. He gains a sit within a criminal organization the Quadrant. 

Oliver is captured after attempting to convince Anatoly to betray Richard Dragon. Anatoly gives Oliver to Richard Dragon who decides to hold him for trial and if he is convicted he will have a life sentence. The trial is held and Oliver is found guilty however the judge overturns the conviction. The judge was impersonated by Christopher Chance AKA the Human Target. Now Richard Dragon is targeting everyone Oliver loves. Now a desperate Oliver Queen confesses he is the Green Arrow to FBI Agent Watson. 

Both the FBI and the Arrow team joins forces against Richard "The Dragon" Diaz however he still escapes. In exchange for the FBI's help Oliver Queen agrees to surrender himself to a Supermax Prison and admits to the public he is the Green Arrow.

Earth-X where the Nazis won World War II attacks Barry and Iris’ wedding to kidnap Supergirl. Overgirl, Dark Archer, and Zoom weakens Kara so they can conduct surgery on her while the heroes are stuck on Earth X. The heroes team up with the Ray and Captain Cold and return to Earth 1 to save Kara.

Devil Comics Review | Arrow Season 5 [2017] Prometheus

Following the death of Black Canary, Oliver builds a new team out of existing vigilantes which includes Ragman, Mr. Terrific, and Wild Dog. Oliver breaks into prison to break out John Diggle who has been framed for a crime he did not commit. Oliver breaks John out of prison while one of his Arrow team is captured by gangster Tobias Church who discovers Green Arrow's identity. 

Oliver Queen is shot by an assassin hired by Church. However Diggle hired Christopher Chance who is the Human Target to take Oliver's place. Church is captured and Prometheus kills him after revealing his identity of the Green Arrow. 

Team Arrow takes on the Vigilante who is District Attorney Adrian Chase. Prometheus attacks Mr. Terrific which sends the Arrow team hunting for him. Oliver uses the drug Prometheus used to attack Mr. Terrific which leads him to a man who Oliver killed years ago. They also discover a traitor within the team working with Prometheus. Oliver confronts Prometheus however it was a trap for him to kill Felicity's boyfriend dressed as Prometheus. As Oliver witness everyone around him and his friends turns to ash Dinah Laurel Lance returns from the dead. The resurrected Laurel Lance is revealed to be Black Siren from Earth 2 who is working with Prometheus. Black Siren lures the Arrow Team into a trap with Prometheus. The Arrow Team stops Black Siren however the new Black Siren of Earth 1 shows up.

Oliver Queen recruits the new Black Canary while Felicity manages to find the NSA files to get John Diggle released from prison. The Arrow Team travels to Russia while Susan who has been dating Oliver discovers he is the Green Arrow. China White, Cupid, and Liza Warner escape Iron Heights and set out for Star City. Green Arrow is wanted for the murder of Detective Malone manipulated by the Prometheus. Team Arrow stops China White, Cupid, and Liza Warner, while Oliver is about to be impreached for covering up Detective Malone’s murder. Oliver is targeted by the Vigilante which brings the attention of the Prometheus who is revealed to be DA Adrian Chase. The Arrow Team takes on the Vigilante who was planning on assassinating Mayor Oliver Queen. 

Oliver seeks Talia Al Ghul to find out who is Prometheus. He discovers she trained him because Oliver killed his father as well as Talia's. Oliver discovers Prometheus is Adrian Chase who has been holding Oliver's girlfriend hostage. The Arrow Team saves her however Oliver is captured by both Adrian and Talia. Oliver is tortured by Adrian and he admits he loves the killing which leads him to quit being the Green Arrow. 

Oliver hires the Russians to kill Adrian Chase however decides to stop the Russians instead while Felicity exposes Prometheus. Now Chase goes after Olivers's son William and the rest of the Arrow Team with the help of Black Siren and Talia Al Ghul. Oliver assembles his own team consisting of Nyssa Al Ghul, Malcolm Merlyn, Captain Boomerang and Deathstroke. Malcolm Merlyn sacrifices himself for his daughter Thea, stops Prometheus, and saves his son William.

Devil Comics Review | Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 [2017] Legion of Doom

The Time Masters were destroyed last season and now the Legends have taken up the mantle. Green Arrow discovers the Legends are missing with the help of Nathan Heywood while investigating a time quake in 1942 New York City. Sara Lance is searching for Damien Darhk so she can have revenge for killing her sister. The Legends kidnap Albert Einstein believing he created the atomic bomb that destroyed New York in 1942. However the Nazis kidnapped his wife to create the atomic bomb. Rip Hunter dispenses the Legends throughout time and uses the Waverider to stop the atomic bomb from hitting New York. Heatwave is put in stasis so he can retrieve the Legends later with the help of Nathan Heywood. We discover Damien Darhk has been working with the Reverse Flash while the Legends face the Justice Society of America. 

The Legends and the Justice Society of America team up to rescue their teammates the Atom and Vixen from the Nazis. The Reverse Flash kills Rex Tyler before he can stop the Legion of Doom. Vixen boards the Waverider believing Mick Rory was responsible for Rex's murder. She is detained by the Legends however they promise to track his killer down while Nathan Heywood is transformed into Captain Steel. 

The Legends track down a time pirate stuck in 1863 Mississippi where they encounter zombie Confederate soldiers. They stop the zombies virus which came from the time pirate. Later they head to 1987 to stop Damien Darhk from interrupting the US and Russia summit. After his defeat the Reverse Flash takes Darhk into the time stream to change their destinies. Later the Legends discover a time quake in 1874 and arrive to save Jonah Hex and the Wild West before heading back to 2016.

In 1927 Chicago, the threesome of Darhk, Zoom, and Malcolm Merlyn meet up with Al Capone to prepare him for the Legends who arrive to save Eliot Ness. Captain Steel impersonates Ness while he recovers from brain damage. Zoom disguises himself as Professor Martin Stein and infiltrates the Waverider along with Al Capone's men and Merlyn. The Legion of Doom are looking for the amulet which will give them the location of the Spear of Destiny to change reality itself. 

Months ago Rip Hunter takes the Spear of Destiny from the Waverider as the Legion of Doom arrives Hollywood in 1967 to get him. The Legends arrive and take on the Legion rescuing Rip Hunter who has lost his identity using the Time Drive. While attempting to encourage George Lucas to become a director who also has the Spear of Destiny, the Reverse Flash arrives and kidnaps Rip Hunter who is tortured for information of the Legion.

The Legion of Doom wants the Spear of Destiny so they can change their past and future. The Legends discover the mystery speedster is a time aberration Eobard Thawne who is being chased by the Black Flash. The Darhk and Merlyn help the Reverse Flash trap the Black Flash so they become equal partners. Rip Hunter travels to 1776 to kill George Washington and the Legends arrive to stop him. It was a trap so Rip Hunter can steal the Spear of Destiny and bring it to the Legion of Doom. The Legends save Camelot from the Legion of Doom and capture Rip Hunter. 

Rip Hunter escapes and the Waverider crash lands on Earth during the dinosaur period. The Legends enter Rip’s mind to free him from the Legion’s control with the help of Gideon.  With Rip back with the Legends, now they can retrieve the final piece of the Spear of Destiny. The Legends find Commander Steel who hid his portion of the Spear of Destiny on the moon. Atom retrieves it with the help of the Reverse Flash who is hunted by the Black Flash. 

The Legends travel to Vanishing Point to steal the rest of the Spear of Destiny from them. The Spear of Destiny is reforged and now they need to destroy it with the Blood of Christ. The Legends need to find JRR Tolkien in 1916 France so they can find the Blood of Christ. However they discovered the Legion of Doom brought back Captain Cold who also wants the Spear of Destiny so he may live. Now the Legion has the Spear of Destiny and the Blood of Christ is destroyed. 

The Legion of Doom created a world where the Legends serve them. Heatwave betrays Captain Cold and saves Nathan Haywood from death. Together they find Ray Palmer and restore their memories. Thawne is planning on destroying the Spear of Destiny as both the Legends and the Legion plan to steal it to use it to restore reality or change it to benefit themselves. The Reverse Flash destroys the Spear of Destiny and Vixen is killed by Captain Cold. The Legends decide to time travel back to 1916 and stop the Legion of getting the Spear of Destiny but first they must find Rip Hunter and the Waverider. Rip Hunter and the Waverider are shrunk on Thawne's desk at Star Labs. 

The Legends restore Rip Hunter and the Waverider to normal size using Ray Palmer's technology and head to 1916 to stop the Legion from obtaining the Spear of Destiny. They run into themselves which causes a time quake. They use the Spear of Destiny to return reality back to normal as the Reverse Flash is killed by the Black Flash. They return back to the present but it mixed with combining the past and the future as a result of the time quake. Season 3 begins this Fall 2017.

Devil Comics Review | Arrow [2016] Heroes V Aliens

Oliver Queen wakes up in an alternative reality where his parents are alive, he is engaged to Laurel Lance, and John Diggle is the Green Arrow. Oliver and Diggle attempt to break the Dominator's  influence with the help of the Atom, Speedy, and the White Canary but the push back comes in the form of Deathstroke, Damien Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn attacking them. Together they break free of the illusion however they find themselves aboard the Dominator's mothership. They use one of their ships to escape while they are pursed by their fleet. The Waverider arrives to save them and discover the mothership is heading towards Earth.

Devil Comics Review | Green Arrow: Rebirth #1 [2016]

Green Arrow and Black Canary have been separated since the beginning of the New 52. Following DC Universe: Rebirth, they both have feelings that they should be together.  The Rebirth issue begins with Green Arrow investigating missing homeless women and children. During the course of the investigation, Green Arrow meets Black Canary and together they investigate the disappearances. They discover there is an underground auction for homeless people and their buyers are the rich. The issue ends with both Green Arrow and Black Canary stopping them which brings them closer together. This was a surprisingly good issue showcasing Green Arrow who he is and how he wins Black Canary’s heart.

Devil Comics Review | Arrow Season 4 [2016] Damien Darhk

The season begins with a mysterious funeral which was the result of the feud between Oliver Queen and Damien Darhk. Oliver returns as the Green Arrow to stop Darhk who is terrorizing Star City. Darkh is taking down anyone who wants to be Mayor of Star City so Oliver runs to take down Darkh in the light of day. Darkh targets Felicity who is shot and paralyzed as Oliver discovers Darkh’s wife Ruve Adams is running for Mayor of Star City. Felicity becomes Overwatch because the name Oracle was taken.

Nyssa wants to take down Malcolm Merlyn so she agrees to challenge him to control the League of Assassins. However Oliver takes her place and cuts off his hand and gives control of the League of Assassins to Nyssa. Malcolm wants revenge on Oliver for his loss so he gives Darkh the identity of his secret son William.

Darkh kidnaps William so Oliver uses Vixen to track him down. Darkh wants Oliver’s resignation and his support for his wife Ruve Adams. They rescue William and Darhk is left powerless. Darkh get his revenge on killing Laurel. She is buried and her identity as the Black Canary is revealed to the public by Oliver to maintain her legacy. 

Team Arrow discovers Damien Darhk's plans called Genesis which involves stealing nuclear launch codes and triggering a global holocaust to reset the world. Felicity teams up with her father the Calculator to prevent Darhk from obtaining the codes however one nuclear device is launched and it has killed tens of thousands. The finale sees the Arrow team take the fight to Darhk with an anti-climatic fashion compared to the Flash and Legends of Tomorrow finales.

Devil Comics Review | The Flash Season 2 [2016] Zoom

Six months after the Singularity nearly destroyed Central City, the Flash works alone to avoid his family and friends from getting hurt. Ronnie Raymond as Firestorm died by destroying the Singularity however a portal was open to Earth-2 and the Atom attempts to kill Barry. The Atom reveals he was sent by Zoom. Harrison Wells in a video statement reveals he killed Nora Allen and Barry’s father is released as Jay Garrick shows up.

Cisco discovers he has powers as the Flash family discover the existence of Earth-2. Harrison Wells arrives from Earth-2 after his daughter Jesse is kidnapped by Zoom. With the death of Ronny Raymond, Professor Stein needs to merge with another person to stabilize Firestorm and we are introduced to Jefferson Jackson.

Gorilla Grodd returns and the Family Family sends him to Gorilla City on Earth-2. Hawkgirl and Hawkman are introduced as they take on Vandal Savage with the help of both Green Arrow and the Flash. The Reverse-Flash returns while Jay Garrick introduces Hunter Zolomon who is the Jay Garrick of Earth-1.

The Flash Family head to Earth-2 to save Harrison Wells’ daughter Jesse from Zoom. They encounter Killer Frost and Deathstorm. They rescue Jesse however Jay Garrick dies at the hand of Zoom. Later it is revealed Zoom is Hunter Zolomon the Flash of Earth-2 and now the Flash Family knows too.

Hunter Zolomon

During the second midseason of the Flash we were introduced to Hunter Zolomon who was the Earth-1 doppelganger for Jay Garrick. Later Jay is killed by Zoom and he revealed himself as Hunter Zolomon. One of the major differences between the television series and comics is that Barry Allen is the first to encounter Zoom and not Wally West.

In the comics Hunter Zolomon is a profiler who was introduced to us by Geoff Johns during his tenure on the Flash. He first appeared in The Flash: Secret Files & Origins #3 as Hunter Zolomon before taking on the mantle of Zoom in The Flash #197. Zolomon’s back was fractured by Gorilla Grodd and he begged Wally West who was the Flash to go back in time and change events. Wally refused so Zolomon used the Cosmic Treadmill to go back himself however the Cosmic Treadmill blew up and he became Zoom. We also got a team-up between the Reverse-Flash and Zoom which will hopefully transition onto the Flash television series.

Versus Zoom
Barry decides he needs to get faster to beat Zoom so he time travels back in time and asks the Reverse-Flash for help before returning to the present. Cisco opens a portal to Earth 2 and Zoom returns to kidnap Wally West in exchange for Barry’s speed. Barry agrees and gives his Speed Force to Zoom. After losing his speed, Harrison Wells decides to recreate the particle accelerator accident to give back Barry his speed powers. Wells uses the particle accelerator but Barry gets trapped inside the Speed Force while the explosion affects both Jesse Wells and Wally West who are destined to become Jesse Quick and Kid Flash, respectively. In a Kevin Smith directed episode, Barry returns from the Speed Force to take down Zoom and his cult of super-villains. 

The Flash team uses Earth-2’s frequency to lock up all the Metahumans in Iron Heights. The Flash team uses Earth-2’s frequency to lock up all the Metahumans in Iron Heights. Zoom escapes to Earth-2 and returns to kill Henry Allen. The Flash team attempts to send Zoom back to Earth 2 for good but Joe West is sent along with him. 

Hunter Zolomon reveals that he captured Jay Garrick who looks like Henry Allen and has been impersonating him. We discover Earth-1 is the apex of the multiverse and Zoom wants to race the Flash to find out who is faster and destroy part of the multiverse. Barry makes a time remnant of himself to stop Zoom and save Joe at the same time. Barry's time remnant saves the multiverse. The Speed Force wraiths arrives and takes Zoom away. The real Jay Garrick is revealed to be from Earth-3 and Harrison Wells takes him back to Earth-2 so they can help him get home. The finale ends with Barry going back in time and killing the Reverse-Flash before killing his mother. The second season of the Flash created a larger universe for the character and the third season promises the revelations of why Barry stopped himself from saving his mother.

Devil Comics Review | Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 [2016] Vandal Savage

The series begins in the future where Vandal Savage taken over the planet. Rip Hunter appeals to the Time Council to save history from Vandal Savage before he destroys it. Since the time capsule has no army, Hunter decides to recruit his own army to join his crusade to stop Savage. Atom, White Canary, Firestorm, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Heatwave, and Captain Cold join Rip Hunter to stop Savage. They board the time travelling ship the Waverider and travel to 1975 while a temporal bounty hunter Chronos arrives in the present hunting Captain Rip Hunter.

In 1975 they discover from an historian that Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and Savage were exposed to the same radiation so killing one of them will pass immorality to the other. They discover the historian is the son of Hawkman and Hawkgirl. Chronos arrives in 1975 and attacks the Waverider as the Legends return to the ship to escape. Hunter reveals that they are not Legends but the opposite and Chronos works for the Time Council. Savage killed Hunter’s wife and child and now he wants him stopped.

The Legends track Savage where he is a seller of a nuclear device which he arms to defeat them. Firestorm absorbs the explosion before the nuclear fallout. During the battle with Savage, the Atom leaves a part of his tech which Savage reverse engineers to destroy Central City in 2016. Martin Stein seeks his 25 year-old self to track down the Alpha particles to Atom’s suit. Elsewhere Captain Cold, Heatwave and the Atom track down the knife that originally killed Hawkman and Hawkgirl leading them to Savage. The Legends confront and fight Savage as Hawkman dies while Hawkgirl is injured. 

Hunter and Canary decide to take Savage’s wealth which leads them to Savage and the body of Hawkman. While killing Savage in 1975, Hunter reveals the names of his son and wife to him thereby leading to their deaths in the future. Now the Legends travel to 1986 to find Savage working with Russia to build a Soviet Firestorm. After they stop the Soviets from building their Firestorm, the Legends head back into the timestream however they encounter Chronos who knocks them off course and crash land in Star City 2046.

The Legends encounter the future Green Arrow John Diggle Jr. AKA Conner Hawke where he has been fighting caused by Deathstroke’s son Grant Wilson. Fifteen years has passed since Deathstroke’s Uprising and Oliver Queen is a recluse who has lost an arm. After Conner Hawke is captured by Deathstroke’s men, Oliver Queen returns and takes on Deathstroke as the Legends arrive for support. Now Oliver Queen and Conner Hawke work together to restore Star City while the Legends head back to the timestream to stop Savage.

The Legends heads into deep space to save the time ship the Acheron and Rip Hunter wants to access their ship for the location of Savage. However they encounter Time Bandits who wants to surrender the Waverider. Heatwave betrays the time however they manage to fight off the Time Bandits and rescue both the Waverider and the Acheron. Captain Cold decides to take care of Heatwave in his own way.

The Legends arrive in the 1950s where Savage is experimenting on creating hawk creatures using the same meteorite that gave him his powers. Savage was building his army and turns Jax Jefferson into one. The Legends stop Savage and change Jax back as Chronos arrives. The Waverider escapes leaving Hawkgirl, White Canary, and the Atom behind in the 1950s.

Chronos is revealed to be Heatwave who was taken by the Time Masters to Vanishing Point to be trained. The Legends take down Chronos and rescue Hawkgirl, White Canary, and the Atom from the 1950s. They head towards the Old West as it is a blindspot for the Time Masters. The Legends encounter Jonah Hex and the Time Masters send the Pilgrim after the Legends. The Pilgrim hunts the younger versions of the Legends so she can erase them from the timeline. The Legends defeated the Pilgrim by using the younger version of Rip Hunter as bait and destroyed her before moving on to find Savage. The Legends finally capture Savage to bring him to Vanishing Point to face his crimes of time travelling however he is immediately released and sent to 2166 to murder Hunter’s family. 

In the far future the Thanagarians arrive on Earth and laid waste to it as well as Vanishing Point. The Time Masters realize Vandal Savage united the world and save it from them. They engineered the death of Hunter's family by Vandal Savage to give Hunter the motivation to stop Savage throughout time. However due to Hunter's interference, Savage grew stronger quicker and prepared to defend the world from the Thanagarians. Realizing Savage was being aided by the Time Masters, the Legends decides to destroy Oculus which gives the Time Masters the map throughout time. Now the Time Masters have cut ties with Savage as the Legends are free to choose their own destiny. 

Savage is going to use the blood of both Hawkman and Hawkgirl on the Thanagarian meteors in three different time periods to set a time quake to return to the past. The Legends discover that using their blood on the meteor will render Savage mortal. The Legends use this chance to kill Savage in three different time periods and to render the meteors inert. They manage to kill Savage in all three time periods however only stopped two of the meteors from exploding. Rip Hunter takes the last meteor into the sun with the Waverider. Now with the Time Masters gone Hunter and his Legends are set to protect the timeline. As the finale ends another new threat emerges as another Waverider crashes on Earth and Rex Tyler AKA Hourman of the Justice Society of America reveals the Legends are gone in his timeline.

Arrow Season 4: John Constantine returns White Canary's soul

In the past Oliver Queen meets John Constantine who is searching for Orb of Horus on the island. He retrieves it with the help of Oliver who saved his life in the process. In the present Sara escaped last episode and now targets women who looks like Thea. Sara finally arrives at her apartment then tracks Thea down at the hospital.

The Arrow team sets up a trap using Thea as bait to lure Sara. They capture her and Oliver plans on restoring her soul to her body. He calls on Constantine who he helped in the past to come to Star City to restore Sara’s soul. Constantine brings both Oliver and Laurel to the other side and fight for the soul of Sara. Oliver and Laurel pull Sara’s soul from the pit while Constantine fights the creature holding her there. They return as Sara’s soul is restored and Constantine warns Oliver to leave Star City because of Damien Darhk. 

Damien Darhk wants Captain Lance to erase some files on people who are all military including Diggle’s brother. Lance gives Diggle a file from Darhk revealing why HIVE wanted his brother killed. The finale reveals Felicity discovering Ray Palmer is still alive and is in trouble. The episode brings Constantine into the Arrow and Flash universe and slowly sets up Sara as the White Canary and the return of the Atom.

Arrow Season 4: Oliver Queen discovers Lance and Damien Darhk alliance

Oliver Queen settles for a suburban life with Felicity as Team Arrow deals with thieves stealing weapons from Kord Industries. Damien Darhk is behind the theft and the subsequent attacks on the city. Oliver returns to Star City to take on Damien Darhk and the HIVE as the Green Arrow. Flash forward six months later we discover Oliver is mourning the death of a friend. Thea and Laurel head to Nanda Parbat to restore Sara as Oliver and Diggle deal with the villain Double Down.

Beyond Redemption begins with Oliver Queen running for Star City Mayor and he has built a new lair for the Green Arrow with the help of Cisco and Star Labs. The Arrow Team and Captain Lance target cops who are taking down drug dealers and stealing their cash. However the Arrow Team is overwhelmed when the cops use anti-vigilante task force equipment. The rogue cops are doing this to provide for their families because the city is dying. 

Later Laurel explains to her father how she brought Sara back using the Lazarus Pit. Sara is currently not in a stable state of mind so Lance asks for help from Damien Darhk. Oliver became aware of that meeting while doing surveillance to find the rogue cops.  He confronts Lance and discovers Damien Darhk came to help the city when the Arrow was gone. 

Lance is kidnapped by the rogue cops and use him to access a contraband disposal facility. The Arrow Team arrives and takes them down. Now Oliver is using Lance to get close to Damien Darkh. As Oliver launches his campaign to become Mayor, Laurel discovers her sister has escaped. The episode pushes the plot forward as Oliver is positioning himself to stop Damien Darkh and the subplots of Sara and Ray Palmer are building up to the Legends of Tomorrow series coming early next year.

TV Review: The Flash Season 1 [2014-2015]

The pilot episode was illegally released several months before its premiere date in October 2014. It begins in the past when Barry Allen witnesses his mother’s death and his father was framed. In the present Dr. Wells from S.T.A.R. Labs and his particle accelerator goes haywire and gives Barry his powers. The accident also gives rise to other Metahumans. The episode introduces and hints at future villains including Reverse Flash and Gorilla Grodd. The pilot gives room for the Arrow to make his appearance to inspire Barry Allen to become the Flash. The final fate of the Flash is revealed towards the end as Dr. Wells as a virtual new headline of the Flash vanishing during an upcoming crisis in 2024. A promise of ten seasons!

Billionaire Oliver Queen returns having being lost on an island and returns to Starling City. Before his father died, Queen is given a list of people who rule the city through intimation and fear. His wealth was built on the suffering of others. Queen assumes the identity of Arrow who brings justice to the corrupt city. Warner Bros. is attempting to replicate the success of Smallville which lasted for 10 seasons from 2001 to 2011.

Now he wants to take everything away from him starting with Commissioner Gordon and Alfred who ends up at Arkham Asylum with the Joker’s Daughter.

Justice League #34 the new Power Ring Jessica Cruz adjusts with her new situation with the help of the Flash.  The Justice League has trust issues with Lex Luthor joining them. This includes Superman and Wonder Woman while Wayne Enterprises and Lex Corp have a partnership. However Bruce Wayne and Superman are planning on arresting Luthor while Lex plans on teaming up with the Crime Syndicate villain Owlman in exchange for Superwoman’s baby.

The writers of the TV Show Arrow brings Felicity Smoak to Green Arrow #35.

Futures End #22 finally shows us what is the Blood Moon which happens to be Brainiac’s world.

Green Lantern/New Gods: Godhead #1 introduces the New Gods into the New 52 and their origins and motivations. The Highfather and Metron explore the Source Wall after realizing a breach occurred due to the actions of Relic. The events between Relic and the Green Lanterns are fully explored in Green Lantern: Lights Out. The events of Godhead are a sequel to Lights Out. Now the Highfather and Metron believe the Lanterns have the ultimate weapon to defeat Apokolips. He asks his Council of Eight to bring him the rings. None of the Lantern Corps were safe as the Sinestro Corps, Larfleeze, the Star Sapphires, the Indigo Tribe, the Red Lanterns, and the Green Lantern Corps. Highfather discovers only the White Ring holds the Life Equation and asks his Council of Eight to destroy the other Lantern Corps. Now Highfather wants the last Lantern: The White Lantern Kyle Rayner.

Hal Jordan leads the Corps to confront Metron and Orion at the Source Wall in Green Lantern #35. After their defeat Metron and Orion head back to New Genesis as Hal heads to find Sinestro.
