The conclusion to the Dark Son storyline is here as the family reunion reaches a climax that began in 2006’s Planet Hulk. Due to advance solicitations we know that Hiro-Kala did not survive. It would have been nice with another character scarificed himself which would have added more significance to the story. On Planet K’al both brothers Skaar and Hiro-Kala battle it out. Skaar imprisons him in stone and the Worldmind takes him to become an orphan planet. Not much of an impact as Earth is saved by the colliding Planet K’al. Very weak story that doesn’t lead to anything except keeping the Hulks in space for the Chaos War crossover next month.
