Reed Richards and the other members of the Future Foundation want to restore Doctor Doom’s mind. First they need a backup of Doom’s brain from his son and heir Kristoff. Doom is restored and prepares to fulfill his part of the bargain with Valerie, which is to defeat her father Reed.
Reed turned down an invitation to join the Interdimensional Council of Reeds who has been released into our universe by Valerie. Now the Reeds want to return home to their own dimensionals however they need to destroy Earth through orchestrating the War between the Four Cities.
Writer Jonathan Hickman (S.H.I.E.L.D) orchestrates a terrific tale of the Future Foundation built on his previous Fantastic Four stories. The dialogue between each of the characters is top-notch and precise to their characters. Each FF story is parts of a whole that needed tobe assembled to enjoy.
