The third month following DC Comics’ September relaunch includes the continuing story arcs of the new DC Universe. Johns also continues work with artist Ivan Reis (Blackest Night) revealing the secret of the Trench in Aquaman and the Sinestro Corps face their founder Sinestro who is now the lead in Green Lantern.

Grant Morrison brings the past of Superman to the present in Action Comics as the people of Metropolis turn on their new champion. Writer George Perez brings a present tale of the Man of Steel to Superman.

Following his finale to Detective Comics #881 and beginning his creator-owned title Severed, Snyder has earned the trust to start collecting his writings starting with Batman and Swamp Thing. Green Lantern Corps writer Peter J. Tomasi focuses on the father and son relationship in Batman and Robin.

Green Lantern writers have their hands full as the Green Lantern Corps face the unknown Intruders by Peter J. Tomasi while Tony Bedard unites the Lanterns together to face the Guardians of Oa in Green Lantern: The New Guardians. Writer Peter Milligan (Human Target) spotlights on the Red Lantern Bleez who is picked as Atrocitus new lieutenant within the Red Lanterns. Milligan is also writing Justice League Dark team book with John Constantine, Zatanna, and Deadman.

Marz returns to his signature character of Green Lantern Kyle Rayner as he tackles Wildstorm’s Voodoo. Another Wildstorm property Stormwatch introduces the team with the addition of Martian Manhunter by Paul Cornell who is currently finishing his run on Action Comics with the Reign of Doomsdays arc.

John Rozum brought back Xombi and now tackles Static Shock with artist Scott McDaniel. Rozum wrote for Milestone Media which housed the heroes like Hardware, Icon, and Blood Syndicate. Now the city where these heroes exist is integrated into the DC Universe. Looking forward as more of Milestone characters slowly pop up.

DC Comics Presents brings fan-favorite comics back at affordable prices by taking advantage of Law of Diminishing Returns. Superman: Secret Identity and The Life Story of the Flash are back in print. Following the Dark Ages of comics of the 90s, the focus now more than ever are upon writers of the series. Holding out on Resurrection Man and I, Vampire until the first issue comes out.
