ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN VOLUME 1 PREMIERE HARDCOVER

Following the death of Spider-Man, a new Spider-Man rises in the form of Miles Morales. After Norman Osborn was outed as the Green Goblin, Uncle Aaron Morales disguised as the thief Prowler sneaks into an abandoned Osborn Industries laboratory to steal an unknown crimson box however one of Osborn’s test spiders sneaks into the Prowler’s bag. The spider later bites his nephew Miles Morales who just won the lottery for admission into a new charter school. Soon Miles discovers he is destined to become the new Spider-Man with new stealth and venom strike powers.

Miles confides in his best friend Ganke and soon discovers the original Spider-Man is shot and witnesses his final stand against the Green Goblin. Miles assumes the role of Spider-Man wearing a similar costume against the criminal Kangaroo. The lack of skill draws the attention of Spider-Woman who takes him back to Nick Fury and the Ultimates.
