ULTIMATE COMICS X-MEN VOLUME 1 PREMIERE HARDCOVER

Riots exploded across the United States after new broke out that mutants were created by the government. Mutants are currently shot on site or they can surrender to local authorities to be held in concentration camps. Rogue is chased by Nimrod Sentinels while as Kitty Pryde, Bobby Drake, and Johnny Storm arrives to assist her. The son of Wolverine James Hudson is kidnapped by Reverend Stryker and his mutant purifiers however he escapes with help from one of his captives. Meanwhile Reverend Stryker plans to take down all mutants down for good as Quicksilver offers the President a deal to track and identify mutant threats with the help of Cerebra.

The brief summaries in the beginning of the issues gives away vital details to the issue themselves. Major spoilers are given away making the issue less dramatic. Combining Cerebra with the Nimrod Sentinels is given away at the very beginning of the issue number five. Story elements are mixed as William Stryker is shown taking away powers however we are told he can communicate with machines. Classification happens in the final issue of the story arc as the X-Gene is a machine itself however a better explanation would be Stryker controls both organic and inorganic matter.
