DARK AVENGERS VOLUME 1: ASSEMBLE TRADE PAPERBACK

Following the events of Secret Invasion, former Thunderbolts leader Norman Osborn replaces Tony Stark as America’s Top Cop by becoming the Director of H.A.M.ME.R. and assembling his own band of Avengers. Osborn recruits Victoria Hand to replace Maria Hill as Deputy Director. Bullseye becomes the new Hawkeye, Moonstone replaces Ms. Marvel, Venom becomes the Spider-Man, Daken becomes Wolverine, Marvel Boy becomes Captain Marvel, and finally Osborn assumes the role of Iron Patriot. Meanwhile former Mighty Avengers Ares and the Sentry join Osborn’s Avengers.

Back in 690 AD Morgana Le Fay targets the present-day Doctor Doom after Osborn released him back to Latveria. The Dark Avengers assist Doom however find themselves quickly overwhelmed as Le Fay turns Venom against them. Doom allows Osborn to interface with his armor so Osborn can access his time machine to stop Morgana in the past. Doom sends Le Fay back to the year one million BC. The Dark Avengers heads back as Clint Burton announces Osborn is employing criminals as his personal Avengers.
