Before
the launch in May, Valiant Comics provided a preview of X-O Manowar within Summer of
Valiant 2012. Aric of Dacia Roman Empire from heavy losses. The
families of the Visigoth people are missing including Aric’s wife Deidre. Now
the Visigoth people led by Aric aim to get them back but believe they were
taken by the Roman Empire . Aric and his
soldiers encounter the Vine and are taken back to their ship.
Aric and
his people are treated as slaves to nurture the Vine’s offsprings. In his
defiance Aric loses his left hand. The Visigoth people stages a rebellion to
escape and Aric finds the X-O armor which chooses him as a host.
