Scarlett
discovers Snake Eyes is working with the Arashikage ninja clan and needs to be
stopped. Baroness convinces Cobra Commander to by land for their new permanent
base while the Joes are on the USS Flagg carrier. Serpentor is tasked to bring
down the Arashikage ninja clan and uses the Soft Master who was recently
captured. He lost his men during an attack of a ninja clan tower in Tokyo
As Cobra
moves money around to buy an island, the ninja clan is trying to steal it while
the Joes follow the money. The Soft Master is rescued and wants an alliance
with Serpentor to stop Snake Eyes.
After a
battle between Cobra, the ninjas, and Joes, Snake Eyes is revealed to be a
traitor to the Arashikage clan so saving a Joe and killing one of their own.
After losing 40 Billion Euros, Cobra Commander severs his relationship with the
Baroness and orders her execution however she escapes.
The Soft
Master leads Cobra into the lair of the Arashikage clan as G.I Joe prepares to
strike them both at the same time. Cobra fails to destroy the ninja clan and
the Soft Master is blinded by his own student Tomo. The Joes find Snake Eyes
and take him back home as Storm Shadow is ready to strike. Overall the story
has a predictable ending, leaving Snake Eyes missing for the foreseeable future
as Storm Shadow manages to escape the final destruction.
