Alistair Smythe AKA the Spider-Slayer who is awaiting execution at the Raft killed Marla Jameson. Now Smythe make his move by releasing Boomerang, Vulture, and the Scorpion. Smythe sends Vulture to kill the civilians trapped in a protective force field by Spider-Man and Scorpion goes after Jameson. Spider-Man is determined to kill Smythe regardless. Spider-Man impales Smythe and the rest of his comrades fall. Jameson gives the Raft to Spider-Man who he now calls as Spider-Island 2.

The Kingpin lives in Shadowland commanding both the Hobgoblin and the Hand. Shadowland is destroy and the Kingpin runs as the Goblin King becomes the new Kingpin of New York. Hobgoblin escapes however Spider-Man exposes his real identity as Phil Urich. He is captured however Menace rescues him and takes him to the Green Goblin where Phil becomes the Goblin Knight!
