The month-long
event unites both X-Force series leading to an all-new X-Force team. Both Cable
and his daughter Hope Summers were targeted by the X-Men Bishop since X-Men: Messiah Complex (2007). They find
out that Bishop is alive in the present on Uncanny X-Force. Meanwhile Stryfe is
back after the events of Messiah War
ready to strike at Cable.
Stryfe arrives and kidnaps both Bishop and Hope as Cable and Uncanny X-Force team fight over their missing teammates. After the short-lived battle, Cable takes Spiral to where Hope was taken only to be confronted by his clone Stryfe. He sends
Spiral back and shows Cable the daughter he raised as Hope impales her
childhood tormentor Bishop.
