Devil Comics Review | Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice [2016]
Following
the Man of Steel, the world
witnesses the battle between Superman and Zod causing massive destruction to
Metropolis as well as the oceans due to the World Engine. Dawn of Justice brings together both Batman and Wonder Woman as
well as other heroes to the DC cinematic universe. The movie
is expected to carry an Anti-Superman theme following the events of Man of Steel. Superman will find himself
at odds with other superheroes including Aquaman due to the destruction of sea
life in the oceans caused by the World Engine. In
Man of Steel, Clark saves workers from a burning oil rig which sends him into
the ocean unconscious. Currently it is rumored that Clark is saved by an
off-screen Aquaman.
During 2014’s
San Diego Comic Con, Zack Snyder introduced the first picture of Gal Gadot as
Wonder Woman and a teaser between the battle of an armored Batman and an angry
Superman. Rumor has it that Wonder Woman and her Amazons are really descendants
of ancient Kryptonians. Instead of a complicated introduction of Amazons and their
race, Warner Brothers decided to keep the plot similar to move the story
forward. Bruce
Wayne is expected to be older 50-something with white streaks in his hair and has
suffered a loss of a Robin sidekick as well as Commissioner Gordon. Meanwhile
Lex Luthor has the body of General Zod which he will use a tissue sample of to
create the monster Doomsday.
