The Star Wars: The
Force Awakens
introduced Supreme Leader Snoke who is the Master of Kylo Ren. Snoke is involved with the Knights of Ren and he is not
interested in the Sith’s Rule of Two where there is a Master and an Apprentice. Back in 1983, Return of the Jedi director Richard Marquand revealed that a
supreme intellect will be introduced in the final trilogy who was manipulating both Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker thereby controlling the destiny
of the galaxy.
In The Phantom Menace, Anakin
was created without a father. In
Revenge of the Sith, Palpatine
reveals to Anakin the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis then looks at him directly when
he reveals Plagueis can create life. Anakin could be the life Darth Plagueis
created to control the destiny of the galaxy.
Collectively, Episodes I through IX is called the Skywalker Saga and it is generational saga. It would be fitting if three trilogies told three generations of Skywalkers. Episode IX could see the return of both the Sith and Jedi Knights as well as a third branch of knights which balances out both the light and dark sides of the Force. Hopefully they will be called the Skywalker Knights.
