Jason Aaron brings two Captain Americas from two different wars and time periods together. Captain America of World War II faces off against the Captain America of Vietnam as this super-soldier is revealed to be Frank Simpson AKA Nuke. Having Nuke as the Captain America of Vietnam was a surprise however looking at it after reading the story seemed like an obvious choice. Jason Aaron pumps up the freshness within the Ultimate Universe along with former Captain America artist Ron Garney who illustrated the character with Mark Waid in the mid-nineties.
