Rick Remender picks up the second arc of Uncanny X-Force with continuing the stories that began with Grant Morrison and Jason Aaron as well as building upon the Deathlok mythology. Back in 2002 Grant Morrison introduced us to the artificial environment called The World. Remender picks up Aaron’s Wolverine: Weapon X story of multiple Deathloks as well as his Dark Reign The List: Wolverine which the World was stolen and shrunk by Fantomex.
The main antagonist of Deathlok Nation is the architect of the World who is the enigmatic Father and his attempts to reshape reality using the cybernetic Deathlok Virus. Remender writes Uncanny X-Force making sure that every mission and kill must be difficult. The first arc Apocalypse was reborn as a small boy, while the second arc the villains are inflicted with the Deathlok virus so their choice for committing evil is not theirs. All Deathlok troopers are called Weapon Infinity.
