XOMBI TRADE PAPERBACK
First appearing in 1994 through DC’s Milestone Media, cult classic Xombi returns in Brave and the Bold #26 on August 2009where Xombi and Spectre take on a murderous ghost who kills things that are already dead including ghosts, vampires, and the undead.
Julian Parker calls David Kim to visit a secret prison and make sure a prisoner did not escape from the Green House did not escape. David Kim AKA Xombi teams up with Nun of the Above Sister Norma, Catholic Girl Stacy,and Nun the Less Sister Beatriz to investigate the secret prison. Nun the Less shrinks down to size usually the same technology to shrink the prisoners. She discovers everyone is dead except the one in the Green House who is missing James Church.
James Church read a book infected with semicolon cancer causing him to develop his own Mr. Hyde persona murdering six people before he was caught. The Hyde character has killed James Church however takes over his body.
The team is attacked by snow angels whose weakness is extreme heat. Then the costumed children from Halloween who didn’t fool the evil spirits into thinking they were one of them. The children were left behind to make sure no one followed whoever broke James Church out. David suggests reactivating the Rustling Husk.
Meanwhile Annie Palmer brings James Church to the prison guard Roland Finch as David Kim and the activated Rustling Husk follows them tot he botanical gardens. David orders Hyde persona to change back to James Church however he changes back to Maranatha the physical incarnation of God’s wrath.

- David uses the Pearl of Wisdom while Nun the Less disables the power source
- Palmer takes Finch’s heart as he teleports away into another Stronghold
- David uses a replicated Pearl of Wisdom enhanced by his nanites to restore the Skull Stronghold
