After having his soul sent to hell and his physical body possessed, Wolverine is out for revenge against the people who did this to him: Red Right Hand. Previously Mystique revealed their location before she was killed by Wolverine. However unknown to Wolverine, the Red Right Hand is made up of individuals seeking revenge against Wolverine who has both knowingly and unknowingly inflicted harm on them. The group sent Mongrel enforcers who have all failed to stop Wolverine however everything is going exactly how the Red Right Hand has planned.
The Red Right Hand commits group suicide to steal Wolverine’s vengeance on them. The Mongrel enforcers who the Red Right Hand sent to be killed by Wolverine were revealed to be Wolverine’s children. Jason Aaron builds a year’s worth of Wolverine stories and provides us with an ending similar to the one in Park Chan-Wook’s Old Boy (2003). However instead of sleeping his children Wolverine murders them. The ending would have been worth it if I have not seen the Korean film which is scheduled to be remade by Hollywood.
