The Incredibles Vol.1: Family Matters [2009]


THE INCREDIBLES VOLUME 1: FAMILY MATTERS TRADE PAPERBACK
The Incredibles take on the futuristic robotic villain Futu10n at the Metroville Zoo. Afterwards in their civilian identity, the Parr family enjoys time with their new neighbors the Carsons: Jill, Jim, Xander, and Bart. Jill bakes some cakes and cookies for the Parr family to break the ice. That night Mr.Incredible heads over to the Metroville Zoo to find one of Futu10n’s devolution bombs with the help of Frozone and later admits he is losing his powers.

Mr.Incredible heads to Doc Sunbright for a checkup who later reveals he is healthy however no longer a Super. While failing to save a boulder from crushing a school bus full of children, Bob admits to his wife Helen he is no longer a Super and he gets grounded.

Two faceless creatures are attacking the Three Pines Mall and the Incredibles minus Mr. Incredible arrive on the scene. Every time the creatures are struck they multiply and divide however their mass stays the same. Bob calls them during the attack and tells them a plan to keep dividing them until they are small.The creatures are contained and Bob realizes Jack-Jack has not exhibited any powers after eating the cookies their neighbor Jill baked.

Bob takes the cakes and cookies to Doc Sunbright for tests. The desserts had power-damping allergens baked into them and Doc Sunbright quickly works on acure however he needs blood samples. Bob realizes the real target was his wife Helen and quickly rushes home. The Incredibles find themselves against the same creatures attacking Three Pines Mall at their home. The creatures were sent by Jill Carson who reveals herself to be Organa Mistress of Chemical Malice.
The Incredibles use one of Futur10n’s devolution bombs to stop the creature however turns Organa into a monkey. Two weeks later the Carsons have moved away and the Parr family rebuild their home.
