TRANSFORMERS: ARMADA VOLUME 3 TRADE PAPERBACK
The Decepticons send a solar scalpel satellite into orbit and destroys an Autobot transport vessel. The satellite is eventually destroyed as the mini-cons discuss their future on Earth. Meanwhile the Autobots rescue the last remaining mini-cons from the moon.
The trade collects the four-part Worlds Collide story arc which brings together the Armada and Generation One Universes. Optimus Prime is mysteriously transported to Cybertron from another alternative universe to witness its destruction from Unicron. Meanwhile Unicron sends his heralds including Galvatron to retrieve the mini-con matrix to the Transformers: Armada Universe.
Megatron defeats Galvatron with the Star Saber as Optimus Prime combines with Jetfire to defeat Unicron. This combination became the inspiration for the action sequence within Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Unicron still destroys Cybertron and Optimus Prime returns to his own timeline to prevent Unicron from destroying his Cybertron.
Optimus Prime leaves Earth and rallies both the mini-cons and the Decepticons on Cybertron against Unicron. The mini-con matrix and the remaining mini-cons destroy Unicron as three Autobots fires on Megatron leaving both entities falling into the void. The ending leads to a new series called Transformers: Energon.
