Fear Itself: Shattered Heroes Premiere HC [2011]


FEAR ITSELF: SHATTERED HEROES PREMIERE HARDCOVER
Following Fear Itself - Marvel Comics concludes the series with three point one issues showcasing the trinity of Avengers dealing with the fallout. Writer Ed brings back Bucky Barnes from the dead following the aftermath of Fear Itself. Nick Fury used a LMD to manipulate people into thinking Bucky Barnes is dead. Faking Bucky Barnes’ death brought Steve Rogers back as Captain America.Nick Fury used the last dose of the Infinity Formula to heal Bucky and bring him back. Now Bucky Barnes is on the road to redemption as he stars in the new upcoming series Winter Soldier available sometime in 2012.

THOR FEAR ITSELF
The fallout of Fear Itself continues with Fear Itself: Thor #7.2 as the Warriors Three inform Dr. Jane Foster that Thor has died. Odin leaves the throne to his wife the All-Mother and takes his brother’s body to Asgard to become his brother’s keeper. The All-Mother becomes the Queen of Asgard as Tanarus becomes the new god of thunder. Thor wakes up from the dead.

IRON MAN FEAR ITSELF
Tony Stark confronts both the Grey and Odin to find closure following the events of Fear Itself. An imprisoned Grey Gargoyle offers prayer for his victims and Odin delivers on that prayer by restoring them back to normal.


As Marvel propels into the Post-Fear Itself era officially called Shattered Heroes, it prepares its publications for 2012 while building a foundation for next year’s stories in the one shot issue: Point One. The story begins with the Unseen who surveys the Watcher’s lair to steal his secrets within 42 minutes. The Unseen witnesses various timelines of the Marvel Universe all at once.
