Bruce discovers the connection between his father and the Kryptic Order through an old friend, Alfred Pennyworth. Some of the heroes have been manipulating the market for personal gain as well as funding the Kryptic Order. A civil war erupts between two groups within the Kryptic Order in Metropolis. Wanted to read this book ever since it first came out, now after twelve years the book still holds up well since 2000. The book has Wally West and Kyle Rayner in the roles as both the Flash and Green Lantern, respectively, prior to the return of their predecessors in Final Crisis and Green Lantern: Rebirth.
