BATWOMAN VOLUME 2: TO DROWN THE WORLD HARDCOVER
The arc is divided into several character perspectives and time frames covering between four months and the present. Each issue pieces together the previous story and keeps the momentum of the story continuous.

Maro’s story takes place four months ago, where she drowns several children so she can use her magic to create the Weeping Woman which Maro can control. Maro also commands Bloody Mary and Killer Croc and they are all apart of Medusa. She is the Second-in-Command of Medusa and her sister is Sune who is a Medusa Agent.

Jacob’s story takes place one month prior, the father of Kate Kane waits in the I.C.U for Bette to wake up. However Bette Kane flatlines however finally wakes up afterwards.

Kate’s story takes place three weeks ago, where she is dealing with her relationship with Detective Maggie Swayer. While having sushi, Kate discovers the leader of Medusa is Falchion who commands Arcane power.

Chase’s story takes place two weeks ago, where she teams up with Batwoman who is wearing new armor. Chase is providing the latest technology to Batwoman to help the D.E.O. with their cases. However Chase tells Batwoman to retrieve the Medusa Agent Sune from Detective Maggie Swayer’s custody.      

Maggie’s story takes place one week before, where Maggie Swayer deals with a grieving parent who is missing her child. Maggie captures one of Medusa’s agent named Sune.

The present story is Batwoman who is trying to locate missing children and dealing with the person responsible for her cousin Bette Kane being in the I.C.U. Batwoman has tracked down Falchion and faces down Killer Croc, Blood Mary, and the Weeping Woman. She uses the technology provided by the D.E.O. to take down Killer Croc, Bloody Mary, and the Weeping Woman before facing the Falchion.
