DAREDEVIL VOLUME 3 PREMIERE HARDCOVER

The 3-part Omega Effect begins in Avenging Spider-Man as Reed Richards sends Spider-Man to watch over Daredevil as the Punisher visits him to steal the Omega Drive. Spider-Man crashes the office with the Hand ninjas in tow. The trio of Marvel Knights as well as one former Marine Sergeant Rachel Cole-Alves preps up to take on Megacrime and destroy the Omega Drive in front of them.

The teams disrupt operations but leave their communication network open to drive them to the location where the Omega Drive will be destroyed in front of them at Grand Central Station. Hydra, A.I.M. and the Exchange arrive as Daredevil attempts to destroy the Omega Drive. Someone shoots Daredevil who falls into three terrorists groups while Alves takes the Omega Drive.

Spider-Man rescues Daredevil and the Punisher tell them Alves shot Daredevil and took the Omega Drive. Alves surrenders the Omega Drive however gets shot by Hydra troops. The Punisher and Spider-Man arrive however Alves escapes as Daredevil once again holds the Omega Drive. The three-part crossover was a total waste because we are back to where we started from with no changes in status quo.

SERIES HIGHLIGHTS

- Matt goes on his first date with the new Assistant D.A. Kristen McDuffie

- Matt hires Spider-Man as his bodyguard against Megacrime while on his date

- In law school Matt defends Foggy who is framed for cheating on his papers

- The Black Spectre arrives at the end of the date to threaten Matt that he is coming for him

- Daredevil drives the other crime organizations out of hiding to claim the Omega Drive

- The Black Spectre takes the Omega Drive and leave Daredevil defeated

- The Black Spectre is revealed to be the New Avengers in disguise helping Daredevil

- While Megacrime hunts for the Black Spectre that no longer exist Daredevil is taken to Latveria

- The Latveria Banking Minister introduces nanodroids into Daredevil’s body which dulls his senses

- Daredevil shuts off the damper and alerts the Avengers to rescue him from Latveria
