Following Star Trek Into Darkness, the trial of Kahn begins as he claims innocent and his story begins in 1971 Bombay. He is taken and reeducated and his DNA reorganized to become a superior being. Khan kills and escapes the facility that raised him and unites with the rest of his enginnered peers to rule the world. The Eugenics War begins with two nuclear detonations on North America and ends with the Reign of Khan. The humans later developed a genetic weapon to stop Khan and his people. Khan retreated into space on the Botany Bay.

Khan awakens as John Harrison unaware of who he once was under Admiral Marcus of Section 31. Marcus changes his physical identity and he destroys the Klingon mining colony Praxxis. After the assault, Khan discovers his body and mind are altered and decide to take the fight to Earth. After the assault, Khan discovers his body and mind are altered and decide to take the fight to Earth to take revenge. Khan is sentenced following After Darkness to be with his people frozen in time.
