Steppenwolf
is killed by Brutaal who is revealed to be Superman who takes on Green Lantern
to near death. General Lane reviles his daughter Lois who is now the Red
Torando to save Superman from himself. General Lane dies during the attack
while Batman kills the Joker and releases Jimmy Olsen and Aquawoman. Another
Kryptonian is discovered as Green Lantern is ready for his comeback against the
Man of Steel. Lois talks to the Kryptonian Val who is afraid of open spaces and
talks him into absorbing sunlight.

Batman
discovers someone is murdering former associates linked to Thomas Wayne. He
discovers Thomas is not the person he once was and brought the death of his
wife Martha in Crime Alley. Batman discovers Thomas Wayne faked his own death
to save Bruce however the fallout between the two left them isolated. After
Bruce died Thomas honored his son's death by becoming the new Batman.
