BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT ANNUAL #1

Gregg Hurwitz creates a wonderful story which has three Batman villains unite
to confront the Dark Knight. The Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, and the Penguin arrive
at the Arkham Detention Facility for Youth thinking each was brought there by
the other. They all believe they have been played however they all stumble on
top of one another to get out. They are knocked out by their own devices and
wake up in the morning. It is revealed Bruce Wayne was behind it all to keep
them occupied for one night so he could get some rest. There is enough Batman
books out there so it was nice to finally see the villains in the spotlight for
once.
