The origin of Shockwave is revealed. The series along with its sister series The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye is setting up for a fall event called Dark Cybertron. Shockwave hid something in Crystal City eons ago. His mentor Jhiaxus build a combiner called Monstructor who was defeated by Omega Supreme. Shockwave was a Senator and his emotions and hands were removed to be obedient however only made him selfish. The Decepticon War began for the battle of the resources on Cybertron with the death of the Senate. Shockwave seeded 13 worlds including Earth to create new energon. His greatest experiment is resurrection.
